It's meant to be

Since spring is coming well Im hoping it is...

I decided to go with a warmer hair color

The thing with that is... warm A.K.A

brings out your natural red

The older I am getting the redder my hair gets and whatever color I do the red always finds a way to show up.

So what am I going to do this this around?

Accept the fact that I am an Irish red head and hold my red head proud!

It's Been a While

This is Miss Sammy

I am dog sitting her while her mom and dad are on their honeymoon in a warm sunny place.

Today is actually Miss Sammys Birthday!!!

shes 5! But you know what that really means...

Shes the oldest in the house tonight by turning 35 today!

Don't worry, she doesn't feel 35... As we speak my 1... eh 7 year old puppy is playing tug of war with her.

I swear that one of them will get whip lash!

Andrew has been on deployment so we celebrated valentines day early
Little did I know that I would wake up early to this delivery from my man!


annnddd speaking of delivery...... FedEx man.... next time you deliver the most important dress of my life... don't leave it in the back door that we don't use... capeesh?

- 17 days till vacation with my lover in Colorado! -

- waking up to just a coating of sugar... eh snow on the ground -

- getting ready for work jamming to the 90's channel on slacker -

- talking to my love while hes on deployment as we are tucked into bed and saying goodnight -

Happy Valentines Day!

         This was our first valentines day together 2 years ago. 

This year we celebrated valentines day early because Andrew left for deployment yesterday.

This time it lasted a whole 24 hours!

We cooked together as I promised to do here

and we made lobster ravioli again!

Its our all time favorite.

We also enjoyed our freshly made pasta with a little bit of blackberry wine it was delish!

Later that night, things got interesting 

we played poker

Mind you we don't play much poker but my good friend M got me into it.

What do you use if you don't have poker chips?

and don't have any loose change around because its all wrapped up?

and yellow was 15

Andrew won the first game and I won the last one.\

The next day

My ski collection became complete!

I now have skis, bindings, poles, and boots

all thanks to my love!

yippee for no more spending $300 every ski trip on rentals

We then went to the mall and every year Andrew has surprised me with a heart necklace 

This year I wanted something different, a girl can only have so much jewelry... right?

One of my dreams has always been for my lover to go to Victoria secrets and pick out something for me, something they like.

I wanted new panties so I told my love to pick some one that he likes and that's what he did.

I think 5 new pairs of panties that I knew he likes is more practical then another necklace right?

Its Thursday!

You know what that means?

Its time to reflect on what's wicked awesome!

1. This picture I found from when I was 16... you know anything amused me then and sadly... still does

2. Tomorrow is the 4th! That means its my birthday! yes we recognize every month for birthdays. why not? so being the 4th tomorrow means one other thing....

3. 11 months till I spend my birthday in Australia with my new "family"

4. Today the sun came out! The groundhog didn't see his shadow. And today we saw a red cardinal

That means spring is coming baby! Just don't hurry up to fast spring... I would like to have lots of snow for when we go to Colorado at the end of this month!

5. Tomorrow is my first official day of work and something to top it off and take the stress of is, I'm working with one of my best friends! how fun is that!?

6. I have been on a cleaning spree and organized everything! I mean everything.... I even have folded undies! 

7. getting a valentines gift from my mum in the mail

Even though my love read yesterdays post ...woops!

I am so smitten by this man.

He amazes me every day with how much love he has

Today.... I was..... spoiled 

*sigh*

This man really loves me I guess

He didn't need to do buy me whatever I have been mentioning or take me to get a work wardrobe

But he did, without me asking, Because he loves me

It feels so great to have someone there who wants to cheer you up and dosnt like to see you down and knows exactly what will put a big smile on my face for a month!

Since he did do a great job on being the man of the house

I guess tonight I will work extra hard on my role 

cleaning and laundry
