- having a little surprise birthday for a good friend of mine last night with awesome $2 cupcakes!-

- 17 days till vacation with my lover in Colorado! -

- that I woke up with half a numb face and a runny nose.... not awesome -

- waking up to just a coating of sugar... eh snow on the ground -

- getting ready for work jamming to the 90's channel on slacker -

- talking to my love while hes on deployment as we are tucked into bed and saying goodnight -

Awesome Thursdays!

Its Thursday!

You know what that means?

Its time to reflect on what's wicked awesome!

1. This picture I found from when I was 16... you know anything amused me then and sadly... still does

2. Tomorrow is the 4th! That means its my birthday! yes we recognize every month for birthdays. why not? so being the 4th tomorrow means one other thing....

3. 11 months till I spend my birthday in Australia with my new "family"

4. Today the sun came out! The groundhog didn't see his shadow. And today we saw a red cardinal

That means spring is coming baby! Just don't hurry up to fast spring... I would like to have lots of snow for when we go to Colorado at the end of this month!

5. Tomorrow is my first official day of work and something to top it off and take the stress of is, I'm working with one of my best friends! how fun is that!?

6. I have been on a cleaning spree and organized everything! I mean everything.... I even have folded undies! 

7. getting a valentines gift from my mum in the mail

Winter In our old condo

With Andrew only having to work every 4 days this holiday season, we have had plenty of time together

 ( can never get enough!)

As I started last week, Thursdays are my Happy lists!

* All this week we have opened up our door every morning to a new gift from Mr. UPS ( thank you sir! )

* My relaxing walk with Mrs. Caitlin in the park. Which included swinging on the playground never too old

* Okay this isn't a "gee I am so glad this happened!" But its something i can look back at laugh now....

The other day during my nice walk, I was a little too adventurous playing on the ice.... and I FELL in! Yes I was covered up to my knee with a nice puddle in my boots but me being a touch chick from New England, kept walking for 2 hours.

* my love and I kinda maybe had Christmas a little early... but shh don't tell anyone! 

I will tell you guys all about it tomorrow!

* I slept in this morning because I was so tired, I didn't even both to get our Labrador retriever off my head. (she sat on me to look out the window for her best friend... mr. black cat)

* getting all bundled up in a bazillion layers, okay maybe 7....4...

and going to the park with my love. He ran which i cant do yet

And I rode my bike! yes in 20 degree weather in 25 mph winds It was so cold, 

but after 3 miles I was sweating!

Yes, I know girls are not supposed to sweat (or so I tell Andrew)

But I was having a heat flash or something, stripped off all the layers and rode another 3 miles. It felt great afterword. 

* Finding out that they bring the dead deer to our sandwich shop to hang and weigh! 

You think I would be used to this. But NO! I will admit that I am still in shock how close our new house is to the hunting community.

 Andrew goes into work tomorrow at 8 AM and will work till 8 AM CHRISTMAS MORNING! yess that's right.... ok sorry little fit over...

So when Andrew gets home we will pack up our new truck that we named blizzard (blizzy)

And drive 7 hours to cape cod to have 'christmas morning' with the family.

Oh well

This will be the start of my awesome Thursdays, Once a week I brag about what is going amazing in our  wonderful lives. Its nice to sit back once a week and think about what is going just, awesome. A day to be thankful for everything I have been blessed with.

*First of all let me tell you how ecstatic I am that we had our first real snow fall of the season today.

We got less then an inch but It felt great to open the door and smell the snow in the air... I'm not crazy right? you know what I'm talking about... right guys?

I grabbed my hat and gloves and ran outside with purgy puppy. Picking up the snow in my hands and throwing it in the air like a celebration, Purgy would flip in the air and try to eat the snow.

We do this for about an hour.

Sorry neighbors that i was strutting myself in my pink fussy robe and uggs ( fashion no-no)

* The fact that Andrew and I stayed up till 5AM last night (er this morning) playing our new Monopoly streets on Wii. Oh the life before kids. I will cherish theses days.

* My lovely note i got today in our travel journal today

* Have you ever received a get well card? even if it was just for having a sinus infection? Yup my lover got big point for this!

* Andrew working a short work week and after Friday he dosnt have to work again till Christmas eve!

that means the 23rd is alll ours!

December 23rd is our 2 year 6 month anniversary.

Yes we still celebrate, but it keeps our love alive!

maybe some FUNdu for that special day?

*the top moment of this week so far is when Andrew told me that we are being sent to Australia on my birthday next year!!!!
