It Happened!!!

You know... we went ring shopping 2 weeks ago

so whats the next step?

Such an amazing moment that takes your breath away that sometimes you forget to say that simple word

"YES!"

One of my good friends Mrs. Caitlin 

who has already taken her role of 'pre' MOH very well

Let be borrow her 'after' wedding dress for my big day

Its beautiful and looks like a vintage wedding dress but its not full floor length

My love asked for me to try it on

And boy did his eyes open up!

He had kept saying all weekend just jokingly

"will you marry me"

So after he had asked for me to try it on and twirled me romantically

he quickly told me to go 'change back into normal clothes really quick!'

As I skip into the bathroom I hear something

hes running upstairs.... is that where he hid the ring???!!!!

Omg this is the moment I have been waiting for all my life!!!

* fixes myself in the mirror*

whats the first thing I start thinking about ???

*oh boy how do I change this on facebook? *

seriously Emma?!

Your big moment is about to happen and facebook is on your mind?!

I walk out of the bathroom he is no where to be found

okay maybe hes still upstairs

I go sit on the computer to kill some time while I wait for him

The music playing on the itunes was a little to loud for such a perfect moment so I turn it down...

Still no sight of my love

As the house is now silent I hear our puppy lick her lips

Yes my hearing is that good

I turn around to see her and what do I see

Purgy puppy is in her cage

and MY LOVE HAS LOCKED HIMSELF IN THERE WITH HER!!!

.....wahhh wah wah....

I was so sad for a second that I had let myself get all worked up for nothing

So what did I do?

I let him sit there for another minute

He needed too...

He has no idea what a roller coaster he just had me on

Of corse I didn't tell him what I really was thinking

Until the moment happens...

Ill be waiting... wearing my waterproof mascara with a camera nearby

Waiting

If you knew me and my lovies sleep schedule... its pretty messed up

He works till 3 am or so and by habit I always wait up for him

Well, I wish I was able to fall asleep sooner last night because...

 after 4 hours of sleep I am awake well trying to be

Because I have my second job interview today

But its over the phone

I have never had a phone interview before, never mind on just four hours of sleep as well

But Im hoping it goes well

so I can get a job and go back to sleep for today

I mean come on... Its snowing out and its chilly out

and I have some hot stud keeping the bed warm for me

Today is defiantly a stay in bed day.

Just have to wait for this call first

Confession

Hey babe?

Eh.. think its about time to take down the Christmas tree?

Cant believe that a dead tree is still alive in our house!

Now if only I had that luck with live plants in the house!

we are just so busy! 

And I'm too lazy to take the ornaments down and wrap them up.

Today or maybe yesterday we started..... Boot camp for boot camp

That's right bloggers... Cross your fingers, your toes, and you eyes!

Pray it all goes well this Fall

And cross your fingers for a little shopping trip Monday goes well for something that I will carry proudly for the rest of my life!

Our new guilty pleasure is now 

French Onion Soup

Its so perfect on the cold winter days we have been having and its very filling.

I mean come on who dosnt like a hot soup that has cheese in it?!

To complete our french night we had a brie cheese treat and lots of french kissing.

Can you tell that we Love cheese?

Yeah well, our cute behinds dont love it as much

SO we were competitive in some Wii Fit this morning 

Maybe after this workout I will make some more soup!

Sunday Funday!

The other day we joined everyone else in the new craze!

Well it just seems like so many of my blogger friends are doing it

We became green!

Well My eyes are already green
as seen here

But anyway... on to my point....
We made the green smoothie!

Yess its becoming that popular that it needs the word THE  before it to make it feel important.

The green smoothie includes spinach leaves, almond milk, banana, and flax seeds, and ice

and wah lah!

It looks gross but its yummy and so healthy for you!

In other news of the boomer house hold!

Its been almost a year since we have adopted Miss Purgy Puppy!

We couldn't tell is she was a chocolate lab or a black lab when we got her

Isnt it so cute seeing her grow up right in front of your eyes?

Well maybe only for me since I am her mommy.

Miss purgy is loving the igloo that we built for her

I was a little too scared to go in the igloo because my mother scared me as a child and said never go in or near one because I will die!

Well maybe not that harsh but she said the snow will collapse on me and I will die!

It must have been a little nicer then that but whatever she said it suck in my head and I got pretty claustrophobic in there.

This weekend has been filled with and will be filled with again tonight with many games of

Cooking with your partner...

sounds impossible to do?

Not for us!

 luckily we are a great team and I'm glad he was around because this was a 4 hands project.

Who knew to make the pasta was just flour and eggs?

And we used our snazzy new pasta "maker" which makes it nice and smooth to make raviolis.

These babies were filled with fresh lobster meat, parsley, and parm cheese  

next time we are doing ricotta cheese for the thicker wetter texture.

For the sauce I used browned butter sauce, And I now know that you skim off the foam from the butter and only use what is underneath for the brown sauce. Lucky for me I got to eat the foamy yummy goodness. I also saved it to sprinkle on our asparagus.

You wanna know the awesome thing about letting your man to help in the kitchen?

Hes been doing the dishes! 

3 times a day!!!!

*thank you god for such an amazing man!*

And thank you for having him in my dreams last night when I dreamed that I said "screw a wedding this summer!... lets just elope to the mountains in Colorado!"

I have so many stories to tell from the past few days but so little time... therefor waiting must happen on your part!
